At Tandem, it’s part of our mission to provide life-changing opportunities for our team members. That’s why we participate in the AbilityOne and Ability Indiana programs, federal and Indiana state initiatives that help people with disabilities find employment with nonprofit agencies that sell products and services to the government.

Tandem Solutions received its first contract through AbilityOne in 2009, when we were selected to manage mail operations at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri. Since then, we’ve been awarded multiple additional contracts.

Current projects through AbilityOne and Ability Indiana:

Manage mailing operations for Whiteman Air Force Base, MO
Insert and presort (barcode and sort) all outgoing mail for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Cleveland, OH, totaling more than 6 million envelopes annually
Presort (barcode and sort) all outgoing mail that includes both letter size and flat mail for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Indianapolis, IN. The estimated volume of letter mail is approximately 1 million pieces annually and flats are 350,000 annually
Printing and mailing of financial documents for the USDA’s National Finance Center, New Orleans, LA
Manage mail operations (PSC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH
Printing calendars for General Services Administration (GSA)
Manage mail operations for Kennedy Space Center, FL
